About me

Hi, I’m Chris!

I am a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bern in Switzerland. I completed my PhD on language ideologies in Pidgin and Creole studies with a focus on Hawaiian Creole and Tok Pisin. I will soon begin a project on the sociolinguistics of Hawaiian Creole (or Pidgin) and I am excited to explore language variation and change across the Hawaiian Islands.
